The Spread Matrix page is used when creating a new matrix or editing an existing matrix. A descriptive title that will identify the purpose of the matrix should be typed in the Matrix Name field at the top of the page. Select the radio button next to the type of markup to be used for this matrix - either price, basis points, or percentage.

Values may be automatically copied down the column in the matrix if the Copy Down checkbox is checked. Values may be automatically copied across the row in the matrix if the Copy Across checkbox is selected. These to options allow the quick entry of values into a matrix. Both can be selected at once to fill the entire array with one entry. Or, neither must be selected if a distinct value is desired for each array element. To use either Copy function, enter a value in a field and press the 'Tab' key.

The 'Reset' button can be pressed to revert to the previous values of the matrix. When all of the markup values are set as desired, press the 'Save' button to store the values to the database table for future application to a list.
